Easy Plumb Guidance Panel

The guidance panel is charged with ensuring that the materials and advice we give confirms to best practice and is in line with the plumbing industry of today. The panellists have been chosen for their specific skills;

The author of the course, has over 35 years' experience of the plumbing and heating industry - both domestic and commercial - from initial design and estimate through to contract completion, he also has considerable experience as a self-employed installer and holds CITB accreditation and is CORGI registered. Now working with both school-leavers and mature students as a Further Education Plumbing Tutor teaching up to NVQ level 3 in plumbing.

Another of our panellists has over 30 years of hands-on experience of plumbing, giving him a vast knowledge of the industry. He left school in 1968 and worked for 2 years in a sheet metal factory before gaining an apprenticeship with a heating company in Poole, Dorset. He attended Eastleigh Technical College to gain his City & Guilds. The majority of the work undertaken as an apprentice involved installing Heating Systems in pubs and hotels using threaded iron pipe. After 5 years he went self employed working on a diverse range of projects from new build housing, factories, hotels and occupied housing.

With over 14 years experience in distance learning in the UK and across the world, this advisor is passionate about easing the challenges faced by distance learning students. He is in tune with evolving ways of assisting the distance learning process by design and delivery methods, including internet delivery, and is the key link to transforming the content of a college curriculum into an effective and straightforward distance learning course.

As a Director of an International plumbing related company, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers and distributors of bathroom brassware and plumbing fittings, a valued member of the team, has extensive industry experience working in the UK and throughout the Company's 50+ export markets. He has a real life understanding of the issues involved in product design, and practical experience of supplying and supporting installations throughout the world.

Please note that guidance panellists are not able to deal with individual enquiries, but do oversee all student support services available for students on our courses.
